Hexi Honeycomb Flag
This marvelous flag (measuring 18.5 X 27.5) is made from hexies and requires no hand sewing. Participants will learn to use acrylic templates and freezer paper templates to make perfect hexies with ease. Other skills learned:
**Quilt as you go
**Using a rotatory cutter and template
**Creating a hidden binding
**Creating hidden wall hanging pockets
The first class will be spent cutting and preparing to sew. The second class will sewing and completing the project.
| Materials Included: | Pattern, SF 101, Acrylic hexigon template, freezer paper templates |
| Requirements: | 1st class: three blue fat quarters, three red fat quarters, white fabric for the stripes, rotary cutter, glue stick, wonder clips 2nd class: working sewing machine (or rent one of ours for $10.00), clear thread, colored bobbin thread to match backing, basic sewing supplies, 2/3 yard of fabric for backing, 2/3 yard of fusible fleece |
