Upcycled Sweater to Hat and Mitts Workshop (Youth)

Give some love to that sweater in the back of your drawer and turn it into your most loved winter make. No sweater? No problem!  We have plenty of beautiful fleece to choose from! In this 2 hour class, we will sew up a toasty warm beanie style hat and customize with one of our furry pom poms or a glamorous snowflake button.  Not interested in hats?  Make mittens?  We will have patterns for both.

This beginner class is for ages 10-16 and some previous experience operating a sewing machine is necessary.

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Skills you will learn are sewing on sweater knits, sewing curves, lining (optional) a hat or mittens.
Requirements: For ages 10-16, MUST HAVE prior experience sewing on a sewing machine. Bring in a sweater, basic sewing supplies, thread to match and a working sewing machine. Let us know in advance if you need to use a class machine.
